Mini Session Terms and Conditions
By purchasing an Mini Session from Sarah Erwin Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Model Release and Copyright
I hereby grant Sarah Erwin Photography the right to take photographs of myself, my children, and anyone else that is part of the contracting party as deemed appropriate by the Photographer. Sarah Erwin Photography shall retain the copyright to all images produced and shall possess the right to reproduce them for various purposes including, but not limited to, marketing materials, portfolio entries, sample products, and display on the Photographer’s website, blog, social media pages, and/or studio. (Please note: if you are not comfortable with your photos being on social media or my website, kindly let me know and I will draw up a modified contract!)

Client's Usage
The images provided are intended for personal use only and may not be submitted to contests or utilized for commercial purposes without authorization.

Social Media
I greatly appreciates when clients share images on social media platforms. It is kindly requested that proper photo credit be given by tagging the business page, Sarah Erwin Photography.
​
Alteration of Images
Aside from cropping, no alterations should be made to the images without the prior written consent of the Photographer. The utilization of filters from any software or social media platform is not permitted.

Return of Images to Customer
All agreed-upon images will be delivered within three weeks of the photography session. Mini sessions include five digital images with the option to purchase more. Digital images will be accessible through a private online gallery for a period of two weeks.

Edits
For mini sessions, basic edits are provided, including adjustments in lighting, exposure, cropping, and color temperature. However, intricate enhancements such as teeth whitening, eye brightening, or acne removal are not included in mini session packages. Should you desire these specific edits, they can be arranged at an additional cost.

Archive of Digital Files
Digital images will be archived by the Photographer for six months.

Weather Policy
If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day due to weather, the mini sessions will be moved to the rain date using the same time-slots. If the client is unable to make the rain date, the client will be given the choice of applying their payment to a future mini session or receiving a refund.

Tardiness
Please note that the scheduled photo session time cannot be extended if the client arrives late. Tardiness may result in reduced shooting time and fewer images presented by the Photographer.

No Show
Failure to attend a scheduled session or any cancellation within 48 hours for any reason other than illness will result in forfeiture of the payment.

Rescheduling Policy
Should the need arise to reschedule the session within 7 days to 48 hours of the scheduled appointment for reasons other than illness or weather-related concerns, a rescheduling fee of $50 will be incurred. Please note that rescheduling requests cannot be accommodated less than 48 hours prior to the shoot, except in the case of illness.

Refunds
No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction with the images. Print products may only be returned in the event of damage or error on the part of the print lab. There will be no refunds or exchanges for any digital products.

Cooperation of Subject
The photographer requires the active and willing participation of each member of the photo shoot. Sarah Erwin Photography is not responsible for missed shots due to lack of cooperation.

Cell Phone Use
Clients are not permitted to take pictures with their cell phones during the photo session.
​
Loss of Pictures
While every precaution is taken to safeguard the photographs, in the unlikely event of loss, theft, damage, or destruction of all images, Sarah Erwin Photography will refund the payment in full. The liability for loss of images is limited to the return of all payments received for the portrait package. In case of a partial loss, the liability shall be prorated based on the percentage of originals lost.

Illness or Absence of Photographer
Sarah Erwin Photography reserves the right to cancel a shoot due to illness, inclement weather, equipment malfunction, or other emergency circumstances beyond her control. In such instances, every effort will be made to reschedule the session or provide a substitute photographer. If an agreement cannot be reached, the payment will be returned to the client

Limit of Liability
Sarah Erwin Photography's liability for any claim, loss, or injury arising from our performance or negligence is limited to a refund of the amount paid for services.
I have thoroughly reviewed and agree to all terms outlined in this contract. I confirm that I possess the legal authority to grant these permissions for all subjects involved in the photo session and accept all associated responsibilities.
